How It Works

Your face makes tiny involuntary micro-movements caused by muscle activity and blood flow. These micro-vibrations (0.1-10 Hz) are invisible to the naked eye but reveal your mental and emotional state.

MicroSenses measures three core signals: Energy (how much your facial muscles are working), Vibration (the amplitude of micro-movements), and Frequency (the speed of those vibrations). Together, these paint a picture of your mental wellness.

Energy, Vibration & Frequency

Energy (E)Your overall psycho-physical energy output. Computed from vibration amplitude multiplied by frequency. Think of it as how "active" your nervous system is right now.
Vibration (V)The amplitude of your facial micro-movements in micrometers. Even when sitting perfectly still, your face vibrates 10-1,000 micrometers. Higher amplitudes may indicate agitation; very low may indicate fatigue.
Frequency (F)How fast your micro-vibrations oscillate, measured in Hz. The dominant frequency reveals whether you are calm (low frequency) or alert/stressed (high frequency). Range: 0.1-10 Hz.

What Your Readings Mean

StressMeasures mental pressure through vibration frequency in your forehead. Higher values mean more psychological tension.
DriveYour inner motivation and determination level. Measured from jaw and mouth micro-movement frequency. Higher values indicate more purposeful energy.
AnxietyTracks nervous tension through the ratio of high-to-low frequency vibrations. Elevated values suggest restlessness.
BalanceHow coordinated your left and right facial movements are. Good balance indicates emotional stability.
ConfidenceYour facial expressiveness and social openness. Higher values indicate more self-assurance.
EnergyYour physical and mental vitality based on vibration frequency. Low values may indicate fatigue.
Self-ControlHow well you regulate your emotional responses. Higher values mean better emotional management.
SensitivityHow reactive you are to your environment. Very high values may indicate emotional overwhelm.
Info (I-value)Psychophysiological information content — how much meaningful data your micro-vibrations carry. Very low values (below 30) may indicate emotional withdrawal or depression. Normal range: 50-80.

Score Guide

80+Excellent — Calm, balanced micro-vibration patterns
65-79Good — Healthy patterns with minor areas to watch
50-64Fair — Some stress or fatigue indicators detected
35-49Attention — Multiple elevated indicators, try the tips
0-34Action Needed — Please prioritize rest and self-care

Tips for Best Results

• Sit still facing the camera directly
• Ensure even, consistent lighting (no flickering)
• Scan for at least 30 seconds for reliable results
• Keep 12-24 inches from the camera
• Stay relaxed — try not to move during the scan

Camera Selection

Front camera (selfie) — Best for self-scanning. Hold the phone steady at arm's length. This is the recommended option.

Back camera — Higher resolution sensor with better low-light performance. Use this if someone else can hold the phone aimed at your face, or prop it against something. Produces more detailed micro-vibration data.

Use the flip button next to Scan to switch cameras. The camera resolution is shown in the top-left corner during scanning.

Aura Classification

During scanning, your state is classified into an aura color based on the AlphaEye clinical model:

Blue — RestfulDeep calm state. Low stress, low tension. Parasympathetic nervous system dominant.
Green — NormalBalanced state. Parameters within healthy ranges. Ideal for daily function.
Yellow — TenseElevated tension or mild stress. Sympathetic activation detected.
Red — AgitatedHigh stress or strong emotional activation. Immediate self-care recommended.
Purple — FatiguedLow energy with drowsiness indicators. Rest is needed.

Face Mesh Scanning

During a scan, colored dots appear on your face showing the 6 regions being analyzed: forehead, left eye, right eye, nose, mouth, and jaw. Each region measures different aspects of your mental state.

Green dots and connecting lines show the facial micro-movement mesh being analyzed in real time. Brighter dots indicate stronger micro-vibration activity in that region.

About the Science

Based on Emotion Vibration Detection Technology (EVDT) and the Vestibular-Emotional Reflex (VER) theory. Your body is a thermodynamic system — emotional energy that isn't expressed through words or actions manifests as involuntary micro-vibrations. By measuring these vibrations, we can understand your internal mental state.

This approach has been validated in healthcare, education, and security applications with 92-96% accuracy in controlled settings.
